with physical opponents], but against the rulers, against the powers,
against the world forces of this [present] darkness, against the spiritual
forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) places.13 Therefore,
put on the complete armor of God, so that you will be able to
[successfully] resist and stand your ground in the evil day [of danger],
and having done everything [that the crisis demands], to stand firm [in
your place, fully prepared, immovable, victorious].
The Christian life is not a playground, it is a battle field where souls
are being won and lost everyday.The battles that many people face can only
be won by using the armor which God has supplied to His soldiers. The
devils purpose is to steal, kill and destroy. For the people that don't
understand the power of God, the purpose of Holy Spirit, and the fellowship
of Jesus, when a battle or storm comes their way they do not know what to
do. Many call out to people that they know, that they believe know God, for
help. There was a time when one of my daughters asked me to pray for one of
her friends and I said to her, you pray for your friend. She said God
doesn't listen to her, but she knows that God listens to me. I know God's
voice, sometimes I listen and sometimes I don't. But God hears all of our
prayers. Brethren, may we stand for battle, be prepared, immovable and be
VICTORIOUS!
