2 Corinthians 7 God comforts the depressed.

6But God, who comforts the depressed, comforted us by the coming of Titus; 7and not only by his coming, but also by the comfort with which he was comforted in you, as he reported to us your longing, your mourning, your zeal for me; so that I rejoiced even more.

Have you ever been depressed to a point where you lost hope? Then a brother or sister in Christ came along and lifted you up to God, comforting you with the comfort he or she previously received by Jesus. That's what being a Christian is all about.

2 Corinthians 1:3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 4who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

How are your friends holding up today? Call them, talk to them and give them comfort, the same comfort that you are comforted with by God.

Blessings, David
