Do you pray first or as a last resort?

2Chron32:7 “Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid nor dismayed before
the king of Assyria, nor before all the multitude that *is* with him;
for *there
are* more with us than with him. 8 With him *is* an arm of flesh; but with
us *is* the Lord our God, to help us and to fight our battles.”...  20 Now
because of this King Hezekiah and the prophet Isaiah, the son of Amoz,
prayed and cried out to heaven. 21 Then the Lord sent an angel who cut down
every mighty man of valor, leader, and captain in the camp of the king of
Assyria.

BE STRONG AND COURAGEOUS. Christians face battles everyday, some we win and
some we loose. Sometimes, it is because, some we pray about and some we
don't. Our God is the God that answers prayers. When the enemy attacks we
can either give up, give in, and fall into sin, OR we kneel down and pray,
lay whatever circumstance is before us, before the God that is the creator
of all things. Hezekiah and Isaiah prayed, God heard and helped. Brethren,
we have more with us than against us. I know failure before God, and I also
know victory. The victory is not to my glory, but to Him who was and is
able to help me. Prayer has power to help us defeat the enemy, and when the
battle is fierce we MUST prayer harder. Prayer should not be the last
resort but the first response.
