Life can be hard!

Life is busy. Life can be hard, and it is more difficult when you are
trying to go through it all alone. Everyone seems to be doing so much all
the time to make ends meets, take care of household responsibilities, and
just make it through the day. Many, make it to church out of responsibility
and duty more than for the sake of being built up and building others up.
It says in *Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope
without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider
one another in order to stir up love and good works, 25 not forsaking the
assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting
one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.* Going to
church should be a "get too" and not a "got too". May we "hold fast the
confession of our hope without wavering", "stir up love and good works".
Charles Spurgeon wrote, "Let us not be solitary pilgrims along the road to
heaven, but join that glorious host of God’s elect who march beneath the
guidance of our great Master." Brethren, God is faithful to His word.
Today, we are closer to Jesus' return more than we have ever been before.
We need to be living like it.
