Dusting. Genesis 1:4-7 NLT

Of all the household tasks that require attention, I actually enjoy dusting. There is something about polishing furniture, bringing out the shine, revealing it's beauty that gives me satisfaction.

God created us out of dust. The lowest of materials at His disposal. Think about that next time you clean your house.

Why did God choose dust? I don't know. Maybe to remind us without Him, we are next to nothing. Without Him, we are just an annoyance. Without Him, we would have no form, no purpose, no soul, no breath, no life.

God formed the first man and breathed life into him. Just think about that with the next breath you take.

Genesis 2:4-7 NLT

The Man and Woman in Eden

4 When the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,  5 neither wild plants nor grains were growing on the earth. For the LORD God had not yet sent rain to water the earth, and there were no people to cultivate the soil.  6 Instead, springs came up from the ground and watered all the land.  7 Then the LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground. He breathed the breath of life into the man’s nostrils, and the man became a living person.

Blessings, Cecilia
