1 Peter 3- What are you waiting for?

In the ark a few people, only eight souls, were saved through water. 21And this water symbolizes the baptism that now saves you—not the removal of dirt from the body, but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God. It saves you through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, 22who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, with angels, authorities, and powers subject to Him.

In the days of Noah, water 💦 wiped out the sin of the world.
Since then, Christ conquered sin, believe in Him and you will be saved from the second death. Baptism with water 💦 is a public announcement your old man is dead and you are a new person in Jesus Christ.

Cecilia and I after becoming "born again" and saved were baptized in a small Baptist church in Tucson. The church had a small pool above the alter, doors were slid open on the wall and the pool was visible to the congregation below. There were stairs leading upstairs on each side of the church. The men went up the left side and women up the right. Cecilia and I arranged it so we came out on top at the same time and our pastor baptized us together. About 200 people were baptized that day while a worship group played songs and the congregation watched from below.

Have you made a public profession of faith by baptism?
Jesus did!
What are you waiting for?

Blessings, David
