1 Peter 4- Three Simple Commands

7The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear-minded and sober, so you can pray. 8Above all, love one another deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. 9Show hospitality to one another without complaining.

Three simple commands;
Clear minded and sober so you can pray.
Love one another.
Hospitality without complaining.

Do you drink alcohol or do drugs?
That's not being clear minded, it's more like in a fog. Does you indulgence cause another to fall?

Do you love one another, like Jesus loves? Or do you complain about a family member or a neighbor? Do you revel in another's misfortune?
That's not loving one another!
What do you post on Facebook or twitter?

Do you show hospitality without complaining? When an in law comes for a visit, do you complain?
That's not showing hospitality!

Instead try being sober minded and pray, loving one another, showing hospitality and you will be closer to Jesus than ever before.

Blessings, David
