Sin Sniffer. Matthew 7:3-5

Are you a sin sniffer? Do you go around pointing out the wrongs of others?  Jesus tells us here to look in the mirror, clean up our own life, then you can help others clean up theirs. The picture of someone walking around with a plank sticking out of their eye is a funny image but that huge hidden sin is no laughing matter. You know what it is, you know what you're hiding. If you can't get rid of it on your own, get help.
Matthew 7:3-5
3 “And why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye when you have a log in your own? 4 How can you think of saying to your friend, ‘Let me help you get rid of that speck in your eye,’ when you can’t see past the log in your own eye? 5 Hypocrite! First get rid of the log in your own eye; then you will see well enough to deal with the speck in your friend’s eye.
Blessings, Cecilia
