Knock, Knock. Matthew 7:7-11

My dearest friend Sandy is in the hospital. Still. She's been there since February 2nd. She went to the doctors that day for some tests on her heart and was admitted. The following Monday, she had surgery to replace two valves and received a triple bypass. Since then, she has undergone dialysis and various treatments for lung issues. She is undergoing further surgery today on her lungs. Please keep her in prayer for healing.
We all have prayed for healing for ourselves or others. Why does God grant some total healing and not others? I don't know. But I do trust Him to use every bad circumstance for good. Some day, some way. We can't see it when we are in it. We may not see it in our lifetime but I trust Him.
So keep on knocking, keep on asking. Prayers do change lives.
Please continue to pray for two year old Carter also. He is making very slow progress, but progress nonetheless.
Matthew 7:7-11
Effective Prayer
7“Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. 8For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.
9“You parents—if your children ask for a loaf of bread, do you give them a stone instead? 10Or if they ask for a fish, do you give them a snake? Of course not! 11So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask him.
Blessings, Cecilia
