1 Thessalonians 4 Why would you reject God?

6and no one should ever exploit or take advantage of his brother in this regard, because the Lord will avenge all such acts, as we have already told you and solemnly warned you. 7For God has not called us to impurity, but to holiness. 8Anyone, then, who rejects this command does not reject man but God, the very One who gives you His Holy Spirit.

Revenge is a nasty word to the Lord! "the Lord will avenge all such acts, as we have already told you and solemnly warned you."
Solemnly warned you, did you get that warning?
He called you to holiness!

Verse 8 bears repeating!
"8Anyone, then, who rejects this command does not reject man but God, the very One who gives you His Holy Spirit."!!!!!!

Are you a revengeful person?"
Why would you reject God?
Turn from vengefulness and leave it to God. Instead pray for the person(s) that took advantage of you. Anytime you feel the bitterness come into your heart pray for them. The Lord will remove the bitterness and He will bless you for your prayers and forgiveness.
