9For God has not appointed us to suffer wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. 10He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with Him. 11Therefore encourage and build one another up, just as you are already doing.
Obtaining salvation, that's what it's all about! He died for us so we may live together with Him.
Years ago replacement lightbulbs were free. You would take your burned out bulb and go to the electric company and exchange it for a new one. But a business didn't like that policy because they couldn't sell their light bulbs. So they sued and won their case. No more free bulbs!
If you didn't grow up when that policy existed you wouldn't miss the free bulbs.
Salvation is free, but how many people don't know about it? If they didn't grow up in a Christian household hold how would they know about it? Salvation is a free life insurance policy, so tell everyone about it. It's rewards are priceless and it lasts forever unlike a lightbulb.
Will you encourage everyone to obtain their free lifetime insurance policy?
The courts and Satan can't cancel this policy because it was paid in full on the cross.
Therefore encourage and build one another up!
