Who Do You Say That I Am. Matthew 16:13-16 NLT

Who do you say that I am? What an interesting question. Who do you say that Jesus is? Is He the Messiah the Son of the living God? Is He a prophet like John the Baptist or Elijah? Or was He just a really nice guy?

There are only a couple of options. Jesus is either who He said He is, He's the world's BEST lier or He was insane.

If you believe Jesus is who He said He is, if you consider yourself a Christian, a follower of Jesus, if you claim to have Jesus in your heart, be born again, saved, then take a good hard look at your life. Are you behaving in a way that brings honor to Him?

Matthew 16:13-16 NLT

Peter’s Declaration about Jesus

13 When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?”

14 “Well,” they replied, “some say John the Baptist, some say Elijah, and others say Jeremiah or one of the other prophets.”

15 Then He asked them, “But who do you say I am?”

16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
