Hebrews 4 Another birthday, thank you Jesus!

Jesus the Great High Priest
14Therefore, since we have such a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we profess. 15For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who was tempted in every way that we are, yet was without sin. 16Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

Great high priest, this is the first time great is used to describe a high priest in the bible. Jesus ascended into heaven and is there preparing a place for you. He lived as a man and was subjected to all of the same temptations as we are but was without sin. You can approach His throne at any time, without lofty words to receive His mercy and to find His grace to help us in our time of need. But you don't need to stop there with only needs! How about praises?
We're your needs met today? Did you thank Him?

Talk to Him today, open your heart up to Him. Lean on Him and receive His understanding.
When I perform daily projects I pray silently to Him, asking for guidance, asking for help, asking that I don't damage something or hurt myself, asking for traveling mercies.
It's easy and habit forming, try it!
Dear Jesus guide me today in everything I do, guide me to do Your will and thank you for another birthday.
In Jesus name I pray.

Blessings, David
