Hebrews 13- Follow or changing the word of God?

7Remember your leaders who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith. 8Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

Who speaks the word of God to you? We all need a leader, to commune with other Christians. It makes us strong to be tied together as a cord, harder for the devil to separate us from God.

As I study verse "8Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." I am struck by a news story I heard yesterday about the Church of England.

Quote; "The Church of England's ruling body debated and voted on a motion to welcome and affirm transgender individuals as part of their process of transition. The vote followed the bishops' decision to support a move to ban conversion therapy for gay Christians, The Guardian detailed.
"As the world listens to us the world needs to hear us say that LGBTI+ orientation and identity is not a crime," said Paul Bayes, the bishop of Liverpool, during the debate. "LGBTI+ orientation and identity is not a sickness. And LGBTI+ orientation and identity is not a sin.""

Is not a sin, what has changed? Jesus Christ hasn't changed and neither has the bible. Brethren we must follow Jesus Christ and His word. Allowing man to change or misinterpret the Word to suit society is wrong and evil, it's allowing the devil to have a key to the church door! Other faiths in our country are following suit.

We all must love like Jesus, we all are sinners, but we don't openly condone sin.
Will Jesus will treat the leaders of the Church of England similar to the Scribes and Pharisees?
Does your church follow the word of God or is it changing the word of God?

Blessings, David
