Are You A Sheep Or A Goat? Matthew 25:31-33 NLT

Have you seen the movie "The Shack"? There is a powerful scene on judgement when the main character Mackenzie sits on the judgement throne. It is revealed to him how he acted as judge, jury and executioner to his father and was doing the same with the man who murdered his daughter. Mackenzie was told, since he believed his sense of justice was correct, to judge his own children for their wrongdoing and execute punishment on them. Of course he couldn't do it.

The only one who truly has the right to judge is Jesus. He sees the seed that is planted, He sees the roots grow. He sees the pain and turmoil that causes bitterness to take hold and He sees our opinions form. He sees judgment and condemnation bloom and He is the only one who can take all that pain away.

What have you done in your past that you are not proud of? Are your sins any less then the person ahead of you in the check out line or the guy who passes you on the highway? Sin is sin and I don't believe God separates us based on sin, I believe He separates us based on forgiven or unforgiving. .

Matthew 25:31-33 NLT
31 “But when the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit upon His glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered in His presence, and He will separate the people as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will place the sheep at His right hand and the goats at His left.
