4In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood. 5And you have forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons:
“My son, do not make light of the Lord’s discipline,
or lose heart when He rebukes you.
6For the Lord disciplines the one He loves,
and He chastises everyone He receives as a son.”
Discipline, we all have had it and anyone with children has administered it. But have we all done it out of love?
When the Father disciplines or rebukes He does it out of love for you.
Whatever trial you are going through or discipline you are receiving remember, He loves you!
