Time To Pray. Matthew 26:44-46 NLT

How many times have we prayed for the same thing over and over and think we  aren't getting an answer?

I prayed for 15 years for David to have a closer relationship with God before my prayer was answered.

When we decided to move back to Michigan, our timing was in 12 months. God said "Go now" and 4 months later the move was complete.

There have been disappointments, some heart crushing, only to see the blessings later.

Prayers are always answered, we just don't always get the answer we want. I've discovered if the answer is "no" it's because God has something better in store for us. Or maybe He's protecting us from some disaster. Sometimes the answer is "wait" and I've also learned God's timing is perfect.

The key to a heartfelt prayer is "Not my will Lord, but Yours".

Matthew 26:44-46 NLT

44 So He went to pray a third time, saying the same things again. 45 Then He came to the disciples and said, “Go ahead and sleep. Have your rest. But look—the time has come. The Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.  46 Up, let’s be going. Look, My betrayer is here!”

Blessings, Cecilia
