James 5- Patience is a virtue

Patience in Suffering
(Job 1:1-5)
7Be patient, then, brothers, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer anticipates the precious fruit of the soil as he patiently awaits the fall and spring rains. 8You too, be patient and strengthen your hearts, because the Lord’s coming is near. 9Do not complain about one another, brothers, so that you will not be judged. Look, the Judge is standing at the door!

Patience is a virtue. Answers.com says; "The phrase patience is a virtue is just a way of expressing the importance of being patient. A virtue is a trait or quality deemed to be morally excellent and thus is valued... as a foundation of principle and good moral being. Patience can make us better people."

When we adopted our ten year old son Jesus, I was being tried to the limit of sanity. I prayed for patience. When we ask the Lord for patience, I believe He teaches us patience. So I was "tried" even harder!
He brings us low so we can be lifted up.

Be patient and strengthen your heart until the Lords coming. Remember, He is in control.

Blessings, David
