God is not dead!

There are many questions that go through our minds everyday, some are
simple and then there are some that we have to deal with in a deep,
spiritual and meaningful way. Jesus asked His disciples questions that were
straight and to the point. One was, *Matt 16:13...He asked His disciples,
“Who do people say that the Son of Man is?”*, this is a question to which
they had many responses, *Matt 16:14 And they answered, “Some say John the
Baptist; others, Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah, or [just] one of the
prophets.”* In today's world we deal with many different answers as well,
He was a good man, a wise man, a teacher, and so many other things. Then
comes the question that they needed to deal with and so do we. *Matt 16:15
He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”* and the response came
quickly, Matt *16:16 Simon Peter replied, “You are the Christ (the Messiah,
the Anointed), the Son of the living God.”* There are days when Jesus is
the Lord of my life, and then there are days when it is not so much.
Throughout my Christian walk I have experienced different seasons. Times of
closeness and distance. Times when Jesus is Lord and times when He is just
Jesus. My desire is to be as close to Jesus as possible. Brethren, please
pray for me as I pray for all who read this. From this day forward, may all
of God's children boldly pronounce to our world that Jesus is Lord and that
God is NOT dead! Maranatha, come quickly Lord Jesus!
