James 4- How did it feel?

11Brothers, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against his brother or judges him speaks against the Law and judges it. And if you judge the Law, you are not a practitioner of the Law, but a judge of it. 12There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the One who is able to save and destroy. But who are you to judge your neighbor?

Who art thou; what a sorry creature, a man, a worm, that thou shouldest lift up thyself into God’s place, and make thyself a judge of one not subject to thee!” (Poole)

Have you watched the movie, The Shack? In the movie a man meets the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The man is asked by the Holy Spirit to sit on the throne of God and to judge "his" children. This is the moment, the turning point of the movie.

When we judge someone we are lifting ourself up into Gods place.
We are sitting on His Throne!

Have you sat on Gods throne?
How did it feel?

Blessings, David
