7Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.
8Be sober-minded and alert. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 9Resist him, standing firm in your faith and in the knowledge that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kinds of suffering.
Anxiety is not from the Lord! So when we become anxious, cast it upon the Lord in prayer. Ask Him to remove it from you.
If you don't, Satan has you right where he wants you!
Be sober-minded and alert. How many times have you seen drunken people do stupid things? You need to be alert at all times as the devil is trying to pry open a crack in your door.
So resist him and stand firm and know others are in the same battle as you. Put on your armor of God and resist the devil!
Ephesians 6:11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes.
Are you prepared for battle when Satan comes prowling?
