Do you give and show glory to God?

20Now all glory to God our Father forever and ever! Amen.
Paul’s Final Greetings
21Give my greetings to each of God’s holy people—all who belong to Christ Jesus. The brothers who are with me send you their greetings. 22And all the rest of God’s people send you greetings, too, especially those in Caesar’s household.
23May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.

What happens when we give all glory to God our Father?

Giving Glory To God

From the old Webster's Dictionary:
1. To praise; to magnify and honor in worship; to ascribe honor to, in thought or words. (Psalm 86:9)  God is glorified, when such his excellency, above all things, is with due admiration acknowledged.
2. To make glorious; to exalt to glory, or to celestial happiness. Whom he justified, them he also glorified. (Romans 8).  The God of our fathers hath glorified his son Jesus. (Acts 3).
3. To praise; to honor; to extol. Whomsoever they find to be most licentious of life--him they set up and glorify.
4. To procure honor or praise to.

David asks: Do you give and show glory to God?

Basic Passage:
"Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God" (I Corinthians 10:31).

The Heavens Declare:
"The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork" (Psalm 19:1).

Not giving glory to God:
Romans 1:21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.

Dear Heavenly Father, I pray that everyone reading this devotional gives and shows you the glory You deserve. You put Your Son above all things because of His love, devotion and sacrifice to give us the gift of salvation. May we always give Him the glory He deserves. And when we fail, gently remind us to return to You, for You deserve all glory forever and ever, Amen.

Blessings, David
