you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood [unless
you believe in Me as Savior and believe in the saving power of My blood
which will be shed for you], you do not have life in yourselves. 66 As a
result of this many of His disciples abandoned Him, and no longer walked
with Him.
Have you ever seriously thought about walking away from Jesus after all
that you have been through because you do not understand or found difficult
to believe what He said? Have you ever had someone close to you, that was
on fire for the Lord, that has walked away and is living for the world?
Billy Graham and Charles Templeton were evangelists in the 40's, Billy
stayed the course, and very unexpectantly Charles became an atheist. Jesus'
followers saw the miracles and believed, then heard the words to difficult
to understand. Jesus is the Living Bread that came down out of heaven. If
anyone eats of this Bread he will live forever. For those who have walked
away and those that are living a life of compromise, my heart breaks.
Brethren, may we stand strong and united, encourage those that have walked
away, and truly understand that Jesus alone has the words of eternal life.
