17So this I say, and affirm together with the Lord, that you walk no longer just as the Gentiles also walk, in the futility of their mind, 18being darkened in their understanding, excluded from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardness of their heart;19and they, having become callous, have given themselves over to sensuality for the practice of every kind of impurity with greediness.
Do you remember how you used to be before coming to Christ?
Don't these verses describe it to a tee?
And who among you after learning the way, the truth, the life could turn back to the old way of life, the old you?
Brethren you have been given a reprieve, forgiven and are now white as snow in Gods eyes. It doesn't mean that we are sinless, it just means we sin less, and when we do we repent and ask forgiveness.
Don't let Satan throw dirt on your white robe by dredging up your past, remind him of your spiritual future with Christ and he's the one who will be thrown into the Lake of Fire, not you!
Rejoice as you celebrate the Lord Jesus Christ birthday and remember the gift He gave you!
Pray for those you know with a hard heart that if it's His will, He will soften them as He did yours.
