You Have Won An All Expense Paid Vacation! 1 John 2:20-21

Obedience by Faith 20 If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? 21 And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also. You have won an all expense paid vacation. You can go to the place of your dreams for one week. Always dreamed of a cruise? You got it! A week traveling Europe? Okay! A ski vacation in the Swiss Alps? Enjoy! Or you can spend a three day weekend somewhere local. Here in Michigan that might be Traverse City, Mackinac Island or Houghton Lake. Still, all expense paid. Here's the choice you have to make between the two trips. The week anywhere in the world? It has to be with the one person you dislike the most. The irritating inlaw, that horrible coworker, the annoying neighbor. The three day weekend? Anyone you want! Your best friend, the person you love the most. You'd choose the local three day weekend over your dream vacation wouldn't you? But Jesus wants to give us more then that dream vacation. He wants to give us that dream afterlife. We may end up spending eternity with that person we dislike the most. Maybe we should work on having a better relationship with them now. Blessings, Cecilia
