5Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you—unless indeed you fail the test? 6But I trust that you will realize that we ourselves do not fail the test.
Can a godly church be led astray?
Yes, if they allow unbiblical falsehoods to creep into the church. Paul was away and false apostles led some of the congregation astray.
Paul was asking the church of Corinth to test themselves to see if Jesus Christ was in them.
What about you, do you fall or pass the test?
For if you pass, shouldn't you be able to see if someone else has Jesus Christ in themselves?
