in view, stay alert with all perseverance and petition [interceding in
prayer] for all God’s people. 1Tim2:1 First of all, then, I urge that
petitions (specific requests), prayers, intercessions (prayers for others)
and thanksgivings be offered on behalf of all people 1Thes5:25 Brothers and
sisters, pray for us.
J.O.Y. - Jesus, Others, Yourself. Have you ever sat down and tried to
figure out who the most important people in your life are? There are many
things in our lives that take our focus off of what we should be doing for
the kingdom of God. Pride and selfishness are the leading causes of sin in
my opinion. Fulfilling our own desires keeps us from truly loving others as
we are called to do. Prayer list are great ways to help us remember what
those that we come into contact with need. There are different list that we
all have that are easy to use. Our cell phones have a list of the most
important people we love and care about. If they are in your phone, they
are there for a reason. Also, have you ever looked at your friend list on
Facebook? I vow to pray for all those on my list specifically by name, one
by one, and ask that you pray for me as well. May our God richly bless you
