Christ's Eternal Priesthood
1The point of what we are saying is this: We do have such a high priest, who sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven, 2and who ministers in the sanctuary and true tabernacle set up by the Lord, not by man.
3Every high priest is appointed to offer both gifts and sacrifices. So it was necessary for this One also to have something to offer. 4Now if He were on earth, He would not be a priest, since there are already priests to offer gifts according to the Law. 5They serve at a copy and shadow of the heavenly sanctuary. That is why Moses was warned when he was about to build the tabernacle, “See to it that you make everything according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.”a
Jesus is the ultimate high priest and was the ultimate sacrifice.
"Jesus is not qualified to serve in the inferior priesthood.
Jesus is the only One qualified to serve in the superior heavenly priesthood." (Guzik)
Take your troubles to the ultimate high priest, He is waiting to make intercession for you. He laid down His life (ultimate sacrifice) to atone for sin (your sin). Make it personal, on a personal level from your heart. He is waiting for you today. You may not have a tomorrow, like those who went for a walk across a bridge, evil came knocking on their door. The world is dying and decay is all around us.
If today is the day you feel Him tugging on your heart, don't delay, RUN, don't walk to HIM!
