Hebrews 10 Are you being persecuted?

32Remember the early days that you were in the light, when you endured a great conflict in the face of suffering. 33Sometimes you were publicly exposed to ridicule and persecution; at other times you were partners with those who were so treated. 34You sympathized with those in prison and joyfully accepted the confiscation of your property, knowing that you yourselves had a better and permanent possession.

Remembering persecution. How many of us have really been "persecuted" for Christ?
Have you lost your family, your possessions or your head? Yes some in today's age are loosing everything including their heads for Christ. So if you are ridiculed by family, friends or fellow workers smile and receive it gladly because it's a small price to pay. Wear your ridicule proudly, smile at them for Christ because He also loves them like a father loves his own wayward children.
Remember your reward, eternal life in heaven!

Here is a link to an interesting article of Christian persecution in the United States. It's an older article so the stats have probably changed.
