kingdom come, Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Acts20:24 But
I do not consider my life as something of value or dear to me, so that I
may [with joy] finish my course and the ministry which I received from the
Lord Jesus, to testify faithfully of the good news of God’s [precious,
undeserved] grace [which makes us free of the guilt of sin and grants us
eternal life]. Acts20:19 Do you not know that your body is a temple of the
Holy Spirit who is within you, whom you have [received as a gift] from God,
and that you are not your own [property]? 20 You were bought with a price
[you were actually purchased with the precious blood of Jesus and made His
own]. So then, honor and glorify God with your body. (AMP)
God's will is probably one of the most important things to find for your
life. Many people are looking for relationships, money, fame, or planning
for their future. For the believer, we must understand that this life is
passing by, and it seems that it is passing by quicker everyday. We were
bought with a price, the precious blood of Jesus. We are called to
something different than the rest of the world. We are called to testify of
the good news of Jesus Christ to everyone we come in contact with. What
will all of our accomplishments mean if there have been souls lost that we
could of helped along our journey. To say to God, Your will be done, is
easier than actually doing it. Dear heavenly Father, please help us, Your
children, surrender our lives, our will to You. Help us to honor and
glorify You in all that we do. Help us to stay focused on the race before
us and fulfill the ministry that You have entrusted to each of us. In Jesus
name, amen.
