2 Corinthians 6 "Behold, now is “THE ACCEPTABLE TIME"!

1And working together with Him, we also urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain—
2for He says,
“AT THE ACCEPTABLE TIME I LISTENED TO YOU,
AND ON THE DAY OF SALVATION I HELPED YOU.”
Behold, now is “THE ACCEPTABLE TIME,” behold, now is “THE DAY OF SALVATION”—

Again we see Paul has a way with words. Is it any wonder why Jesus stuck him on the road to Damascus?

God has offered us Grace through His Son whom took our place and died for our sins. Do you or anyone you know received Gods grace in vain?

Vain definition: producing no result; useless:

At times like today I feel like, or should I say, I think we raised our adopted son in vain. We raised him in a Christian home, offered him the best schools but he rejected it all because of his past, his birth family. His longing desire to be like them.

Behold verse 2 is a promise from God. "for He says, “AT THE ACCEPTABLE TIME I LISTENED TO YOU, AND ON THE DAY OF SALVATION I HELPED YOU.”

Do you remember your day of salvation? The day you opened your heart and let all your sins pour out on to Jesus Christ? He does!

Have you not surrendered yet? For God says: "Behold, now is “THE ACCEPTABLE TIME,” behold, now is “THE DAY OF SALVATION”—".

Today is YOUR day says the Lord! Pour out your heart and surrender to Jesus and you will be set free. You will become righteous in Gods eye and become one of His adopted children. Don't receive the grace of God in vain! "Behold, now is “THE ACCEPTABLE TIME"!

Blessings, David
