2 Corinthians 4 What about you, do people see Jesus in you?

7But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves; 8we are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing; 9persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; 10always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. 11For we who live are constantly being delivered over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh. 12So death works in us, but life in you.

Paul explains in this text our human design, struggling through life in frailty, more so while preaching the salvation though our Lord Jesus Christ, because they hated Him with the devil's burning passion. They crucified Him and wanted to blot out any remembrance of Him or anyone preaching of Him.

Matthew 10:28 Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

Paul was on a mission, to win all he could over to Jesus Christ!
They constantly sought to murder him but he tarried on, to bring eternal life to the dead and dying, "so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh."
In simple terms, you become a mirror! People look at you and see Jesus.

What about you, do people see Jesus in you?

Blessings, David
