Are you telling God to get out?

We may never know "Why" certain things happen. Why would someone walk into
a church, a school, a Walmart, and open fire or even at a concert? It seems
as though when catastrophes happen, many people blame the same God that we
have asked not to be a parts of our lives. I read a quote by Anne Graham
that impacted me, “For years we've been telling God to get out of our
schools, to get out of our government and to get out of our lives. And
being the gentleman He is, I believe He has calmly backed out. How can we
expect God to give us His blessing and His protection if we demand He leave
us alone?” It is written in *Psalms 116:15 Precious (important and no light
matter) in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints (His loving
ones).* Recently there have been many deaths of His saints, and may we pray
for the help that we need. Dear heavenly Father, thank you for all you do
in spite of all that we do that offends you. We ask that you comfort the
brokenhearted, heal the wounded and renew a Spirit of holiness in our
nation. Please watch over all of those that we love and care about. Please
put a hedge of protection over all of Your children around the world. Help
us to feel Your presence and Your joy in all that we do. In Jesus precious
and powerful name, amen.
