Can you repent to quickly?

Prov9:10 The [reverent] fear of the Lord [that is, worshiping Him and
regarding Him as truly awesome] is the beginning and the preeminent part of
wisdom [its starting point and its essence]...Heb10:26 For if we sin
willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no
longer remains a sacrifice for sins 1John1:9 If we confess our sins, He is
faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all
unrighteousness.

When someone truly gets to know God, His character through His word, that
persons life changes. The fear of the Lord seems to have diminished in our
society. We as a nation have allowed God to be removed little by little
from our everyday lives. There are people that have been my friends, that I
have co-labored in the ministry of Jesus, that have walked away and can no
longer be seen as being a Christian, because of what they say and do.
Willful sin and disobedience can probably be found in someway in every
believer. I remember making a comment and then asking God for forgiveness
out loud. Someone said my problem was that I repent too quickly. Repentance
needs to be quick. No matter where you are or what you've done, Surrender
to God, Repent, Return, and be Forgiven.
