What's Bugging You? Psalm 23:2a NLT

Psalm 23:2a NLT
2 He lets me rest in green meadows
"If tormented by flies or parasites, sheep will not lie down. Only when free of these pests can they relax."

2 Corinthians 1: 4 NLT
He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.
And then there's my favorite:

Philippians 4: 6-7 NLT
Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

So why do we stress? Why do we worry? Is it the fear of the unknown? Lack of control? None of us is really in control of our lives. We can't stop the sun from rising, we can't stop the night from coming, we can't stop the waves from crashing on the shore. But God can. Only He can. Only God can control the sky and the seas and the very path we walk. If we let Him. So let Him and let Him give you rest from your worries.

Blessings, Cecilia
