So many people we have been praying for. My friend Sandy, her husband Ken, a granddaughter of friends battling cancer, a young family who just lost the father, a woman with a progressive debilitating disease, the list goes on.
A vast crowd brought many lame, blind, crippled, mute and sick people to Jesus and He healed them all. The crowd's response? They praised God.
Thank you God for your miracle healing in Carter. Thank you Lord for eradicating the cancer in my sister's body. Thank you God for healing my friend from her stroke. Thank you God for the young man who can walk again after a life threatening accident that shattered his spine.
But what about the times God doesn't heal, do we still praise Him? Thank you God I was able to spend my dad's last moments on this earth with him. Thank you Lord my friend is no longer suffering from the pain of cancer. Thank you God for the young man who touched so many lives before dying from a heart defect.
Thank you Jesus for your sacrifice so I can one day be with you and my loved ones in Heaven.
Matthew 15:29-31
29 Jesus returned to the Sea of Galilee and climbed a hill and sat down. 30 A vast crowd brought to Him people who were lame, blind, crippled, those who couldn’t speak, and many others. They laid them before Jesus, and He healed them all. 31 The crowd was amazed! Those who hadn’t been able to speak were talking, the crippled were made well, the lame were walking, and the blind could see again! And they praised the God of Israel.
Blessings, Cecilia
