soul; but rather be afraid of Him who can destroy both soul and body in
hell.32 “Therefore, the one who confesses and acknowledges Me before men[as
Lord and Savior, affirming a state of oneness with Me], that one I will
also confess and acknowledge before My Father who is in heaven.33 But the
one who denies and rejects Me before men, that one I will also deny and
reject before My Father who is in heaven.39 Whoever finds his life [in this
world] will [eventually] lose it [through death], and whoever loses his
life [in this world] for My sake will find it [that is, life with Me for
all eternity].
Evangelism - the spreading of the Christian gospel by public preaching or
personal witness. Simply said, letting others know about why you love Jesus
and what He came to do.The disciples were warned that there would be
persecution and to not be afraid of those that can kill the body.
Evangelism is illegal in Russia. In China and the Middle East it can be a
death sentence. Today in the United States, it is so easy to do without
the threat of harm, and yet people are afraid for one reason or another.
Jesus' words were simple and true, "confesses and acknowledges Me before
men[as Lord and Savior, affirming a state of oneness with Me], that one I
will also confess and acknowledge before My Father who is in heaven." Not
everyone will go to heaven, if we deny Jesus as a part of our life, we
definitely will not go, whatever circumstance you are in, better to fear
God than man.
