Battles that we face everyday.

1Sam17:4 And a champion went out from the camp of the Philistines, named
Goliath...10 And the Philistine said, “I defy the armies of Israel this
day; give me a man, that we may fight together.” 40 Then he (David) took
his staff in his hand; and he chose for himself five smooth stones from the
brook, and put them in a shepherd’s bag, in a pouch which he had, and his
sling was in his hand. And he drew near to the Philistine. Phil4:13 I can
do all things through Christ[a] who strengthens me.

There are battles that we face everyday. Battles to be a better person, to

sin less, to love more, physical battles, emotional battles, spiritual

battles, etc.etc. Many times we feel that we cannot win. We feel like

failures. The enemy trips us up, beats us down, whispers lies into our

ears, we believe that we cannot ever be accepted by God because of what

we've done. I read something that said, "The army of Israel looked at

Goliath through the eyes of man and said he's to big to beat. David looked

at him through God's eyes and said he is to big to miss". Whatever battle

you are facing, realize that the God that helped David defeat his giant is

with you and able to help you defeat whatever giant you are facing.

Brethren, we can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens us. Trust in

the Lord and He will help you!
