Romans 12:6-8 Follow Your Heart!

Romans 12:6We have different gifts according to the grace given us. If someone’s gift is prophecy, let him use it in proportion to his faith; 7if it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; 8if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is giving, let him give generously; if it is leading, let him lead with diligence; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.

Gifts, we all have them. What’s yours?

A couple weeks ago Cecilia and I were opening the Nursery at church getting ready for Sunday services and we were approached by a volunteer from another area of the church. She thanked us and gave us encouragement for our service to the nursery and said we gave her encouragement for our service and dedication to the nursery.

It’s interesting how God uses others to encourage His children in their ministry.
The encouragement came at the right moment in time. We were feeling down because of a complainer who was gossiping.

We have to remind ourselves it’s God’s ministry and He will provide.

Has the Lord been laying on your heart to encourage someone? What are you waiting for?
You may be the appointed one at the exact moment that God has deemed necessary to encourage someone.
If you don’t do it He will appoint someone else in your place!
Follow your heart!

Blessings, David
