And We Wonder. Psalm 4:8 NLT

I saw this news story this morning:
"The raging violence in the border city of Reynosa led to more than 500 murders in 12 months due to an internal fight within the Gulf Cartel. In May alone, more than 50 murders were registered with no end in sight."
Reynosa is a Mexico town bordering McAllen Texas.

As bad as that sounds, there were 762 murders in Chicago in 2016.
How did we get to this point? What has happened to mankind?
Our country was founded on the belief in God and how His word in the Bible tells us to live. In the 242 years since the United States became a nation, we have been systematically removing God from every aspect of our life. Schools banned prayer and students are not allowed to bring their Bibles to read. The 10 Commandments have been removed from court rooms. Nativity Scenes are no longer allowed in the town square. Christians are openly mocked and it's politically incorrect to say "Merry Christmas" or Happy Easter" .

And we wonder how people can “live” broadcast murders (and worse) on Facebook and why people would not only watch it but hit the "LIKE" button.
Psalm 4:8 NLT
8 In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O LORD, will keep me safe.

Blessings, Cecilia
