Isiah 9:9-10 & Mark 4:12 What if there wasn’t any parables?

Isiah 9:9And He replied, “Go and tell this people: ‘Be ever hearing, but never understanding; be ever seeing, but never perceiving.’ 10Make the hearts of this people calloused; deafen their ears and close their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed.

Mark 4:12so that,
‘they may be ever seeing but never perceiving,
and ever hearing but never understanding;
otherwise they might turn
and be forgiven.’a”

The Lord spoke to Isaiah and Jesus quoted Isaiah 9:9-10 in Mark 4:12

Why did Jesus speak in parables?
Those people with a hunger for God, the parable is a method that is effective and memorable for the conveyance of divine truths.
But those with dull ears and hearts, won’t understand the meaning to the divine truth.

The Jewish leaders were plotting to kill Jesus, they were blind to the spiritual truth, their eyes were closed and their hearts were hard.
Parables were an effective tool that Jesus used.

But what If parables weren’t used?
”otherwise they might turn and be forgiven.”
Would Jesus have gone to the cross if everyone turned and were forgiven?

Blessings, David
