The Destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah
24Then the LORD rained down brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah—from the LORD out of the heavens. 25Thus He destroyed these cities and the entire plain, including all the inhabitants of the cities and everything that grew on the ground.
26But Lot’s wife looked back, and she became a pillar of salt.
Gods judgement is true, the people of Sodom and Gomorrah rejected Him after He saved them through Abraham and Melchizedek. They were evil and didn’t care for the widows and orphans.
Lot’s wife looked back, her heart was lingering there and she apparently didn’t want to leave. Gods judgement on her was a warning, repent and don’t look back. Leave your evil desires behind you and serve Him.
