12Through Silvanus,f whom I regard as a faithful brother, I have written to you briefly, encouraging you and testifying that this is the true grace of God. Stand firm in it.
13The church in Babylon, chosen together with you, sends you greetings, as does my son Mark.
14Greet one another with a kiss of love.

Peter's closing out this letter with encouragement and testimony of the true grace of God and he is asking that you stand firm in it.
Peter would know about grace as he denied Christ three times! So when Satan whispers in your ear that God won't forgive you remember Peter. Let him be your example of grace. If your ear itches and you are convinced that your sins are greater then remember Paul or King David!
God has given you grace so don't waste it on remorse. Pick yourself up and get to His work and be an example of His grace and help a lost soul find the Son.
