What will your obituary say?

John3:3 Jesus answered him, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you,
unless a person is born again [reborn from above—spiritually transformed,
renewed, sanctified], he cannot [ever] see and experience the kingdom of
God.” 2Cor5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in,
joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and
renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and
spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come
[because spiritual awakening brings a new life].

My own obituary: Father's Day 2000, June 18th, Douglas Blaser came to an
end of himself. Alcoholic, drug addict, thief, liar, and so many more
things. His wife had left him and took their children with her. He was all
alone and Jesus saved him in his children's bedroom. The next day, he gets
arrested for domestic violence, reckless endangerment with firearms. Police
officer shares Christ with him. News paper article read, "Man holds wife at
gunpoint". Douglas, thought he lost everything, no job, no home, no contact
orders for wife and children, everything earthly was gone. God got Douglas'
attention. Everything began to change. A relationship with Jesus became
real, grew and flourished. Flash forward. Douglas has become a church going
man. Follows after Jesus more than he did anything of the world. June 30,
2010 ordained as a Pastor. Douglas was not perfect, made some mistakes
along the way and at one point even became disqualified for ministry. God
restored him and Douglas is planning on serving God till death. Main desire
is to go to heaven and take as many people with him as he can. Born again
and all things new. Praise Jesus!

Douglas
