In Him 11also we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to His purpose who works all things after the counsel of His will, 12to the end that we who were the first to hope in Christ would be to the praise of His glory. 13In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, 14who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory.
These verses Paul gave us are rich, let us examine what we have been given.
We have obtained an inheritance and have been predestined according to Jesus Christ 's will.
"that we who were the first to hope in Christ would be to the praise of His glory."
Do you remember when you first heard the message of salvation through Jesus Christ?
When you were saved?
You have been sealed by Him and given the promise of the Holy Spirit.
Brethren, Satan can't touch you because of that seal!
You have been adopted as a child of God! He will protect you from eternal damnation!
You have been redeemed with His blood, you are now His possession,
"to the praise of His glory."!
