John 1:19And this was John’s testimony when the Jews of Jerusalem sent priests and Levites to ask him, “Who are you?” 20He did not refuse to confess, but openly declared, “I am not the Christ.”
21“Then who are you?” they inquired. “Are you Elijah?”
He said, “I am not.”
“Are you the Prophet?”
He answered, “No.”
22So they said to him, “Who are you? We need an answer for those who sent us. What do you say about yourself?”
23John replied in the words of Isaiah the prophet: “I am the voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Make straight the way for the Lord.’”c
The religious establishment, the swamp comes against John.
His response; Isaiah 40:3 (NKJV)
3 The voice of one crying in the wilderness:
“Prepare the way of the Lord;
Make straight in the desert
A highway for our God.
In our country the left is decrying; there is no god!
How long will you be able to remain a Christian?
Will you be like John or will you bend to the ones decrying there is no god?
If you look at history and realize how authoritative governments gain control over people, first they have to remove God from society so their form of government can take His place. It’s beginning here in our country! Read the article at the link I sent.
