Fact # 1) Christ was born of a virgin.
Matthew 1:18 This is how Jesus the Messiah was born. His mother, Mary, was engaged to be married to Joseph. But before the marriage took place, while she was still a virgin, she became pregnant through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Fact # 2) He lived a sinless life.
2 Corinthians 5: 21 For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.
Fact # 3) He died a horrible torturous death.
John 19: 30 When Jesus had tasted it, he said, “It is finished!” Then he bowed his head and released his spirit.
Fact #4) He was buried, sealed in a cave for three days.
Matthew 27:59 Joseph took the body and wrapped it in a long sheet of clean linen cloth. 60 He placed it in his own new tomb, which had been carved out of the rock. Then he rolled a great stone across the entrance and left.
Fact # 5) He resurrected, in the living flesh and walked the earth once again in human form.
Mark 16-6 but the angel said, “Don’t be alarmed. You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead! Look, this is where they laid his body.
Fact # 6) He ascended into Heaven, from which He came.
Mark 16:19 When the Lord Jesus had finished talking with them, he was taken up into heaven and sat down in the place of honor at God’s right hand.
Fact # 7) He will return again.
Mark 13:6 Then everyone will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds with great power and glory.

16 Without question, this is the great mystery of our faith :
Christ was revealed in a human body
and vindicated by the Spirit.
He was seen by angels
and announced to the nations.
He was believed in throughout the world
and taken to heaven in glory.
