James 5:9 & Galatians 5:22 Are you a complainer?

James 5:9 Do not complain about one another, brothers, so that you will not be judged. Look, the Judge is standing at the door!

Why do people complain? That is the question!
Attending a church or being a member doesn’t make you immune from complaints in the church body. We work hard serving in a ministry at our church and someone recently complained about a youth volunteer. But they also sent an email to the director of the ministry. I always say please and thank you but they complained I was rude. Turns out that three of the biggest complainers are friends.

This verse says it all, “Do not complain about one another, brothers, so that you will not be judged. Look, the Judge is standing at the door!”

Complainers need to practice the fruits of the Spirit.
Galatians 5: 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no Law.

Encourage ministry volunteers, don’t discourage them.
Show them His love!

Are you a complainer?

Blessings, David
