among the people. Acts4:4 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria and
preached Christ to them. 6 And the multitudes with one accord heeded the
things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. 7
For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were
possessed; and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed. Romans8:11 But
if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who
raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies
through His Spirit who dwells in you.
Holy Spirit is still active today, but not as active as I believe He could
be. The miracles and healing's from the days of the Disciples seem to be
rare, at least in the United States. The same power that raised Jesus from
the dead, was able to cast out demons, able to heal the blind and lame, is
able to help God's children what God has called them to do. As people look
at some of the :"kookiness" from man's eyes, may we not let that keep us
from believing that God is still active today. May we pray for revival, an
out pouring of the Holy Spirit upon God's people, and a renewed sense of
priority to honor and glorify God in all that we do. My heartfelt desire is
to be able to do all things that God has for me to do for the kingdom by
His Holy Spirit, whether is feels comfortable or not, and be willing to
step out of my comfort zone by faith. How about you?
