Judges 12:7 Lifespan

7Jephthah judged Israel six years, and when he died, he was buried in one of the cities of Gilead.

Genesis 6:3 So the LORD said, “My Spirit will not contend with man forever, for he is mortal; his days shall be 120 years.”

Everyone has a start date and an end date. When my father passed a friend told me “you are now mortal” and not knowing what he meant I asked for an explanation. He replied, that generation is gone and you are next.

Most of us will never leave a footprint in history and we won’t be written about in the Bible but we can make a difference for the kingdom of heaven!

Who will you tell about Jesus today? By doing so you may change their eternity!

I’m reminded by a quote from Charles Spurgeon:

“If sinners be damned, at least let them leap to Hell over our dead bodies. And if they perish, let them perish with our arms wrapped about their knees, imploring them to stay. If Hell must be filled, let it be filled in the teeth of our exertions, and let not one go unwarned and unprayed for.”

Who are you warning and praying for?

Blessings
